Speech-Language Pathology

Speech language pathologists work with children and adults with a wide variety of communication disorders.  Speech therapy targets fluency, vocal quality, speech intelligibility, language skills, basic communication, cognitive disorders, social skills and feeding difficulties. Speech language pathologists work with patients with a variety of diagnoses to include:  autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, Parkinson’s disease,
stroke, head injury, prematurity, hearing impairment and speech and language disorders. The speech department at PBRC hosts the Permian Basin Cleft Palate Clinic 6 times a year to provide support and medical care to patients diagnosed with cleft palate or other craniofacial anomalies. The speech language pathologists at PBRC are dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate therapy services to our patients and their families.
